Congratulations! You are about to make the best decision of your life -- starting a business. It's a lot of work to build your empire from scratch, but SS believes in you!
You may have an idea of how starting a business works, but here in 2023, there may be more to manage than you're used to. There an an overwhelming amount of new processes, tools and options available to new business owners. How do you know what is most valuable and beneficial to your new business?

We want to help fill in any missing pieces of your to-do list and explain the critical steps of creation. Once you have an idea for a business, it's time to take it to the next step. We must think through the idea, and develop your service or sales.
BUT FIRST
Let's start with some words from the wise. (Not me, someone wiser...)
The great Les Brown says, "Your Mind is the Key to Success."
If you want to be successful, I suggest starting to listen to this portion of his speech every morning. It's about 15 minutes long.
Listen to it until you can say it word-for-word out loud. I did this almost the entire first month into the first year of my business. Truly, Les Brown changed my life. Les Brown helped me overcome my cash flow problem. Les Brown helped me start my business without even knowing it.
"You must be willing to do the things today others won't do, in order to have the things tomorrow others won't have."
New Business To-Do List
Once you have an idea for a business, it's time to take it to the next step. We must think through the idea, and develop your service or sales to its maximum potential.
It starts with a business name. Pick a good one!
Then you should register your business with your state.
Next, you may want to consider building the financial foundation of your business.
Create an email address for your business.
Choose whether you would like a second phone number or not.
Purchase a domain for your website.
Brainstorm your services and products.
Brainstorm your mission and vision.
Create social media pages.
Consider building a basic website.
Register your business on google.
Order business cards.
Order any business tools necessary for the operation -- processing money, equipment, technology, etc.
Consider formally writing your business procedures prior to launch.
Establish professional connections with an accountant, lawyer, etc.
Market your business to friends, family, community members and other potential clients!
Create a business plan.
Work hard and get rich! Save for taxes.
Each of these steps requires a great deal of effort. But here's the thing -- each and every step is worth it. Starting your business is worth it. Creating something others will believe in, too, is worth it. Working hard for yourself is worth it.

There are only twenty steps to creating a fully-functioning business. If you set your mind to it, you can change your life by the end of this year. Sure, it's really hard at first. Your future self will thank you for taking the first step and never stopping!
